[Food in Seoul] Korean Fine Dining "DOORI" – Christmas Seasonal Course Experience
During my visit to DOORI last December for a Christmas celebration, the moment I stepped inside, I knew this place was unique. The interior was adorned with beautiful Christmas decorations, and the warm lighting paired with soft music created an inviting atmosphere. It was a moment filled with excitement from the very beginning.

Cozy Warmth in Every Detail
The restaurant’s ambiance exuded coziness, thanks to the Christmas décor and gentle lighting. The thoughtful interior design elevated the entire dining experience. Everything, from the color palette of the walls and tables to the design of the dinnerware, was meticulously curated, leaving a lasting impression.

Heartfelt Hospitality
The husband-and-wife chef duo who run DOORI welcomed guests with warm smiles and genuine care. Their hospitality enhanced the flavors of each dish, making the experience even more memorable. The kindness and warmth they showed added a comforting touch to the entire evening.

A Curated 15-Course Feast
For Christmas, DOORI had prepared a special 15-course menu.

Each dish, crafted with fresh ingredients and care, was a work of art.Two standout highlights were the perfectly cooked steak and the mackerel with a rich, savory myeoljeot (fermented anchovy) sauce—both truly deserving of praise.

A Destination for Special Occasions
If you're looking to make a special day even more extraordinary, DOORI is the perfect place to visit. Everything—from the food to the ambiance and service—was flawless, creating moments to treasure. It's a place I’d eagerly return to without hesitation when the next Christmas season comes around.
