Nestled in an alley just above Sokcho Beach’s iconic Ferris wheel, the local café ‘A Wonderful Day’ offers a cozy and charming atmosphere. It’s a great place to unwind and soak in the seaside vibes.

The café’s second-floor terrace provides a relaxing spot to gaze out over the ocean. On a chilly winter day, there’s nothing better than enjoying a warm cup of coffee while embracing the gentle rhythm of Sokcho’s coastal charm.

Signature ‘Ferris Wheel’ Bread with Cheesy Goodness

One of the café's signature offerings is the ‘Ferris Wheel’ bread, filled generously with cheese. Each bite delivers a fun experience as the cheese stretches with every mouthful. Its warm, creamy flavor pairs perfectly with cold weather, offering a comforting treat.

The café also has a variety of beautiful desserts. The ‘bunny pudding’ appeared to be especially popular, though I didn’t get a chance to try it this time. It's definitely on my list for my next visit!

Warm Ambiance and a Peaceful Escape

This café is an ideal spot to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding area. It’s particularly well-suited for travelers looking for a quiet place to rest during their Sokcho trip.

While the sea view may not be as expansive as expected, the window-side seats and the overall warm ambiance more than make up for it.

If I find myself at Sokcho Beach again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stop by for another relaxing visit.
