Sparkling Winter in Busan: 4 Must-Visit Spots for Light and Romance
Busan is often thought of as a summer destination, but the city transforms into a romantic wonderland of lights during the winter. From towering skyscrapers to cozy seaside tents, here are four destinations that prove Busan is the place to be this season.

1. A Garden of Light on the Sea: The 2nd Millak Luce Festa
The night view of the Gwangalli Bridge (Diamond Bridge) and Marine City is iconic. Right next to these landmarks, the Millak Waterside Park is currently hosting the 2nd Millak Luce Festa. Walking along the waterfront, you will find a long path of lights that feels like stepping into a fairy tale.

This year features the "On-Bit Maru" theme, centered around the character "Muse." You can find cute Muse mascots and photo zones throughout the festival.
A Return of the Picnic Culture For a while, eating at the waterfront park was restricted, which disappointed many locals and tourists. However, for this festival, the "Midnight Camping Zone" has been introduced. These are transparent tents where food is allowed. You can now enjoy delicious local snacks while admiring the winter night view of the bridge, sheltered from the cold wind.

If you want to create your own Christmas tree or buy unique ornaments, the 3rd floor of the Busan Jayu Wholesale Market in Dong-gu is the ultimate "shopping holy land."

While the 3rd floor usually sells flowers (fresh, artificial, and orchids), in winter, it magically transforms into a massive Christmas market. As you walk through the aisles, you will smell the sweet scent of air fresheners and see endless rows of twinkling bulbs and ornaments.
