Night Viewing: Available year-round

Exhibition Halls:

Seokjojeon Hall: 09:30 AM – 05:30 PM (Last Guided Tour at 04:30 PM)
- Note: Access only by online reservation with a guided tour.
Dondeokjeon Hall: 09:00 AM – 05:30 PM (Last Entry: 05:00 PM)
Jungmyeongjeon Hall: 09:30 AM – 05:30 PM (Last Entry: 05:00 PM)

Regular Closing Day:

Every Monday (If Monday is a public holiday, Deoksugung will open and close on the next non-holiday.)

Tour Starting Point: Near the main Deoksugung Guide Map, right after passing through Daehanmun Gate and Geumcheongyo Bridge.

Group Tours (10+ visitors):

• Pre-reservation is required.
• Limits: 25 people on weekdays / 15 people on weekends
• To reserve, call (+82) 2-751-0742.
Note: Tours are not suitable for groups of young children (elementary grade or below) due to the complexity of the content.

Deoksugung is conveniently located in central Seoul, with easy access via subway and bus.

By Subway:

• City Hall Station (Line 1 & 2) – Exit 2 (2-minute walk)
• Gwanghwamun Station (Line 5) – Exit 6 or 2 (10-minute walk)

By Bus:

Hanbok Free Entry Guide

Celebrate Korean tradition by wearing a hanbok and enjoy free entry to Deoksugung Palace!

• Both traditional hanbok and modern-style hanbok qualify.
• Visitors must wear both top (jeogori) and bottom (skirt/pants).
• Outerwear alone (like a durumagi) does not qualify.
• Foreign visitors in hanbok also receive free admission.
• Please wear hanbok that respects the cultural setting (avoid overly revealing outfits).
